.This 1965 Pontiac GTO is owned by Eric and LaNae Turpin.  Eric and LaNae’s GTO is white with turquoise interior, an automatic transmission, tri-power 400 Pontiac motor, V-8, and 389ci 3-2 barrell carburator.  This car was built in Kansas City (December 1965) and originally purchased by Louis P. Shwanke in Denver , Colorado at Seifert Pontiac-Cadillac.  It was restored in 1995 by James Shwanke (son of Louis) and was purchased by the Turpins on 10/11/03.  Eric and LaNae are original members of the Pontiacs of Bakersfield car club.  They met a year ago on November 9, 2003 at Liberty Park under the lights in the parking lot when the original plans for the club began.
